Three founders in two countries, and one product so far.
STAGGSOFT is a New Zealand and Australian software group. We build intelligent tools that help people and businesses make smarter decisions about the things that matter most to them.
Take the friction out, and both sides do better.
Most of the friction between a business and its customers is caused by missing information. Somebody is asked for a number they do not have. Somebody else has to verify it later, usually at the worst possible time, and both of them lose.
We use technology to close those gaps before they matter. When the information is right at the start, the customer gets a better outcome and the business runs more efficiently. That is not a trade-off — it is the same fix.
KEEEP is the first application of that idea. It will not be the last.
STAGG is five initials.
The five letters are the first initials of our children. We put them in the name because it settles an argument before it starts: whose standard is this being built to?
Theirs. We are not going to tell you their names — that is the point of having something worth protecting. But it is a useful thing to have written on the door.
Five children, three founders, two countries. The STAGG came afterwards — it was too good a coincidence to leave alone.
Eighty-three years of building and shipping software.
Three founders who have each spent a career doing one part of this well. Between them the team covers the full path from architecture to market.
Craig Nicholson
Three decades in software development, as a CTO and in solutions architecture. Craig is responsible for how KEEEP is built and how it holds up once it is in front of a book of policyholders.
Bevin Wong
Thirty-eight years across end-to-end software platform design, programme management, go-to-market execution and commercial acumen. Bevin runs the commercial side and is the point of contact for partner conversations.
Ken Koh
Fifteen years as a product and solutions analyst, and the originator of the KEEEP concept. Ken owns the question of whether a household will actually finish the walkthrough.
Three commitments we would rather be held to.
We say where we are up to
KEEEP is an MVP in development and this site says so on every page. We would rather lose a meeting than win one on a claim we cannot support.
The partner keeps the relationship
We do not sell direct to consumers. Policyholders reach KEEEP through their insurer or broker, and the partner can put their own brand on it.
A household's inventory is theirs
A record of everything somebody owns deserves care. The household decides who sees it. Nothing is shared until they say so, and it then goes only to the partner they chose, as a structured export.
We are looking for the first partner to put this in front of their book.
If your policyholders are setting their own sums insured, we should talk.
